Every product, device, supplement, app, protocol, and trend on AbundantlyMari is filtered through three questions: what does the evidence support, what is the real-world experience, and is the outcome worth the cost?
The E·E·E filter
Evidence
What quality of evidence exists? Human trials, professional guidance, plausible mechanism, early-stage research, anecdote, or simply a claim repeated often enough to sound established?
Experience
Is the product usable in normal life? Does it require unreasonable maintenance? When I test something personally, I describe that experience separately from conclusions that can be generalized.
Economics
What does it cost beyond the sticker price? Subscriptions, replacement parts, time, complexity, attention, counter space, charging, and the opportunity cost of buying this instead of something more useful all count.
Our evidence shorthand
Strong: credible human evidence and/or established professional guidance relevant to the claim being made.
Promising: reasonable early evidence, but important questions remain about size of effect, population, dose, duration, or replication.
Mechanism-led: biologically plausible, but direct evidence for the marketed outcome is limited.
Anecdotal: personal reports may be interesting, but they are not treated as proof.
Marketing-forward: the strength of the claim meaningfully exceeds the quality of the evidence we can identify.
What a recommendation means
A recommendation means I believe a product is worth considering for a clearly defined use case. It does not mean everyone needs it, that it will produce the same result for every person, or that a less expensive option could not be better for you.
